NY City Pickleball conducts pickleball clinics in New York City, primarily in the Manhattan area.
We are currently offering weekly Clinics and Leagues at the following locations:

Ken Henderson
Founder and Director
Ken is in his 50s and originally from Brooklyn, NY. He attended Fordham University and now enjoys teaching & spreading enthusiasm for the game of pickleball around New York City. Ken is an IPTPA certified pickleball instructor and national medalist. Vast Coaching experience includes: teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced players both privately and in group classes throughout FL, NY and CT.
Ken also directs successful tournaments, clinics, round robin socials and mini boot camps. He enjoys teaching players of all levels, the fundamentals of pickleball and the finer points of the game.
Current playing experience includes winning gold medals in singles, doubles and mixed doubles throughout 6 states last summer. In April, Ken won the gold medal in singles at the U.S. Open and reached the semifinals in doubles. In November, 2017, Ken won 2 bronze medals in singles and doubles at Nationals in Arizona. Ken enjoys partnering up with some of the best players in the country, while co-directing world class clinics with them. IPTPA Teaching Professional
“Z”orano, (often times called “Z” and in his 50’s) is New York’s first Level II IPTPA Certified Teaching Professional, as well as New York’s first IPTPA CRS (Certified Rating Specialist).
Zorano is proud to have created a new revenue stream for the Boys and Girls Club by increasing memberships and introducing Shootouts to the list of programs offered there. Hosting Clinics, doing private and group lessons, as well as tournaments at the club, has contributed to membership growth and increased revenue to the struggling Nonprofit organization.
As a long-time enthusiast of the game, “Z”orano is always looking for new and exciting ways to promote pickleball regionally and nationally, particularly in elementary, middle, and high schools.
